 🎨 How I Started My YouTube Channel: Drawing Memes and Family Moments with Procreate Pocket

Welcome to my blog! I wanted to take a moment to share the story behind my YouTube channel: Filamnimation, where I post short, funny meme-style animations that I create entirely on my phone. Yes, you read that right—just my phone!

✏️ How It All Started

It all began as a fun little experiment during my free time. I’ve always enjoyed drawing and making people laugh, so I decided to try combining the two. One day, I downloaded Procreate Pocket—the mobile version of the popular drawing app—and started sketching out silly moments from my daily life. To my surprise, those doodles turned into short animations, and those animations turned into a channel!

📱 Why I Use Procreate Pocket

The reason I love Procreate Pocket is simple: it’s powerful, flexible, and portable. I can draw and animate whenever I find a quiet moment—whether I’m waiting in line, taking a break, or just chilling on the couch. I don’t need a fancy setup. Just my phone, my imagination, and a little bit of humor.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Meet the Cast: My Family!

Every character you see in my videos represents someone from my family—each one with their own personality, quirks, and favorite T-shirt color. For example:

• 💙 I wear blue because it’s my favorite color.

• 💖 One of my siblings is in pink, because it suits their sweet and silly personality.

• ❤️ My aunt rocks red, because, well… she insisted. 😄

• 💜 My mom wears purple—it’s her favorite and totally her vibe.

It’s a fun way to include my loved ones in the creative process and make each animation feel more personal. Even though the videos are short and humorous, they’re based on things that are real and relatable to me—like awkward moments, random thoughts, or those little inside jokes only families understand.

😂 What Kind of Videos I Make

My animations are short, fast-paced, and packed with personality. Think of them as meme videos mixed with animated skits. Some are exaggerated, some are just plain goofy—but all of them come from a place of creativity and connection. If you've ever laughed at a silly moment with your family, you'll probably relate to something on my channel.

I’m continuing to experiment, improve, and share more content whenever I can. I don’t have a set upload schedule—this is a passion project, after all—but I post whenever inspiration strikes and time allows.
